About the Department of Business Administration In today's world, business, communication, economic and social change, and individual and societal problems have become global. Global challenges require global mindsets enhanced by multiple academic disciplines and perspectives beyond traditional training. The Department of Business Administration, with its Bachelor and Master programs, offers students the opportunity to obtain a degree in a variety of academic disciplines and professional specializations, which will provide them the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to succeed in a diverse and international work environment while preparing them for life as contributing citizens of the global community.

The Department of Business Administration is dedicated to learning, personal growth, and developing a community where active participation and freedom of expression are encouraged and supported.

Our department objectives embrace UNYT objectives and consist in:
  • Reviewing and updating the courses to reflect labor market trends;
  • Further enhancing the quality standards of teaching by incorporating modern methods and techniques, and upgrading the syllabi;
  • Providing ongoing academic help and support to our students;
  • Arranging for visits and guest speakers to meet with our students in order to promote model leaders and managers from various business areas and industries;
  • Strengthening and streamlining the Department's efforts in research and project development.
Moreover, committed to the intellectual, creative and personal development of its students, our department believes that the outcomes of student learning should include:
  • Excellent command of practical oral and written communication skills in English;
  • Development of analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Understanding of research methods, including the ability to locate, evaluate, and integrate information and data;
  • Solid knowledge of different issues and societies;
  • Sensitivity to social issues, cultural and ethnic diversity;
  • Understanding of international issues and a global perspective of important issues and events;
  • Development of healthy interpersonal and social relationships;
  • Knowledge of the uses and limitations of modern technology;

  • Strengthening of the values of integrity, objectivity, and human understanding;
  • Production of evidence-based research for policy-making consideration.
The Department of Business Administration consists of both national and international staff that provide not just exceptional educational expertise but also multicultural perspectives. In addition to education and research, our department members contribute significantly to the community by serving on committees, editorial boards, and review panels for academic journals. In addition, our department in collaboration with the State University of New York (SUNY), Empire State College (USA), offers dual degree programs with a duration of four years (256 ECTS/124 ACTS).
