About

The Bachelor program in Business Administration with a profile in Business Administration is a 3-year program offered by the Department of Business Administration, part of the Faculty of Economy and Business. The study program aims at equipping students with the skills and knowledge to understand and manage all aspects of a company, including finance, HR, sales and marketing, and general management. Additionally, it equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue leadership, management, or operational positions in the public, private, nonprofit, and governmental sectors.

Admission Requirements

The application process for the bachelor programs of UNYT is made possible through the U-Albania Portal on the pre-defined dates from the Ministry of Education. For every enrolment period, UNYT adds a customized calendar from U-Albania with the dates for each process. This is usually public in April.

UNYT Admission Criteria

  • GPA Average greater than 6.5/10 for all study programs, in compliance with Decree of Council of Ministers.
  • A complete application form.
  • Original copies of High School Diploma and Transcript, or photocopies legalized by the Regional Educational Directory and the Ministry of Education and Sports.
  • If the degree was obtained out of the Republic of Albania it must go through the diploma recognition process at the Ministry of Education and Sports.
  • Photocopy of ID or passport.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • English Certificate of B1/B2 Level.

International Students Admissions

  • 1 completed application form (if the application was not filled in online)
  • 1 certified copy of high school diploma and transcripts* of all the years
  • Proof of English level
  • An electronic passport photo or 3 printed passport-size photos
  • 1 copy of a valid passport or ID card

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

  • Apply fundamental understanding of accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing in the application of concepts and theories.
  • Utilize relevant tools to demonstrate effective writing and oral communication abilities.
  • Integrate concepts from the major areas of business.
  • Explain the importance of corporate ethics.
  • Conduct methodical, secondary research into general and specific business challenges using various data, research sources, and relevant procedures.
  • Enhance communication skills, team building and teamwork abilities, and adaptability to change.
  • Enhance numerical and quantitative skills, including data analysis interpretation and extrapolation.
  • Utilize communication and information technology effectively for business applications.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate from the First Cycle Program (Bachelor), the student must:

  • Earn 180 ECTS
  • Have a GPA of 2.0 / 4.0 (50/100) in all academic years

Occupational Opportunities

There are numerous career progression prospects in business administration, ranging from finance and sales to market research, training and development, and executive leadership. The breadth and versatility of such a degree can help graduates find employment fulfillment, success, and continued advancement. Business administration graduates could consider the following positions: Training and Development Specialist, Market Research Analyst, Sales Manager, Human Resources Manager, City Managers, etc.

Access to Further Studies

A graduate in Business Administration can seek postgraduate programs in the same and other related fields, to further deepen his/her knowledge, but also can pursue a postgraduate program in similar business-related fields like management, marketing, economics, or even in other social sciences that could be related to his undergraduate studies like international business or political sciences.
