About Department of Information and Intelligent System
The Department of Information and Intelligent Systems (IIS) at the University of New York Tirana hosts two
academic programs: the Bachelor in Software Engineering and the Master's in Data Science and Business Analytics.
The Bachelor's program is meticulously designed to impart a robust foundation in software development, emphasizing
on essential programming skills, system architecture, and web and mobile application development. It aims to
produce software engineers who are not only technically proficient but also innovative and adaptable to the
rapidly evolving tech landscape. The Master's program, in contrast, offers an in-depth exploration into data
science and business analytics. This curriculum is crafted to develop expertise in data analysis, machine
learning, and the integration of these skills in business contexts, equipping graduates with the ability to
transform data into actionable insights.
